Casino Jefe Bonus for New Customers

In case you didn’t know, the word “jefe” means “boss” in Spanish, and this casino has bonuses that could make you the master of a balance that reaches new heights. And hey, sometimes, you might even get a chance to claim a bonus without making a top-up. No, you don’t need reading glasses, as this casino from time to time rewards players with a Casino Jefe no deposit bonus simply for signing up. However, please understand this offer is not available to customers in all locations.

Still, most gamers will be able to enjoy a Casino Jefe welcome offer. Oftentimes, there is more than one deal, and if so, you can choose the one that works for you, or maybe even mix and match them as you like. There are usually two parts that you can claim – bonus money and Casino Jefe free spins, both of which could become available on your first few deposits. To activate them, you normally don’t have to apply a Casino Jefe promo code, but simply click the button to select the deals you want.

Bonus Terms

Before we start talking about welcome bonus terms, let’s explain how things work for a no deposit bonus, as it is commonly the first type of deal gamers can encounter. In most cases, you don’t have to apply any Casino Jefe no deposit bonus codes, but you will have to click a special button on the interface to claim the deal. Your withdrawal can sometimes be limited too, but if you ask us, the amount you can cash out tends to be quite generous.

The welcome bonus is often a multi-tiered promotion, meaning that you will have to deposit to activate every level available. More often than not, the minimum deposit required is slightly above the industry average. It probably won’t break your budget, but there are also cheaper deals out there.

The wagering requirement is typically different for Casino Jefe bonus money and free spins. Sometimes, winnings from free spins don’t have to be wagered at all (but normally, you do have to wager the deposit a couple of times), while the bonus money often has a rollover requirement that is higher than usual. If you are a complete beginner, maybe it would be best to stick to spins if possible.

When playing a bonus, it would be best to focus on slot machines, as they normally contribute the most. Other games don’t always add to the bonus equation. And don’t forget – you might not have to use the Casino Jefe bonus code, but you often have to activate the deal manually.

Ongoing Promotions

Once you are done with the welcome offer, you will want to enjoy casino bonuses for loyal players. Without further ado, here are some examples of common Casino Jefe bonuses

This casino tends to rely on its loyalty program for giving players extra goodies. So, this program typically helps customers get additional rewards, based on an elaborate system of levels. In most instances, the higher the level you reach, the more perks and benefits you will get. And what can you actually get? Well, these offers can take any shape, including bonus spins, deposit deals, cashback, spins on a bonus wheel, and other types of extras. So, the loyalty scheme provides you with bonuses, without any Casino Jefe bonus codes

Game Selection

This online casino features some of the best games from top providers such as NetEnt, Microgaming, Yggdrasil, Pragmatic Play, and Evolution Gaming, to name but a few of the notable ones. This means you get a wide selection of high-quality titles across the slots, fruit machines, progressive jackpot, live dealer, and video poker genres. Therefore, it’s fairly safe to say that you’ll find hundreds of hours’ worth of excellent casino entertainment at Jefe.

Slots and Table Games

With modern video slots and classic fruit machines being the largest category of games here, you will find them spread across the All Games, New, and Slots tabs when browsing the releases. However, this does create a problem in that, beyond narrowing down to only the latest titles, the only way of filtering the vast number of slots is to search directly via the Find a Game bar at the top. So, we would love to see searches by the provider, volatility, bet level, etc, added in the future. Until then, you’ll just have to scroll down endlessly until something appeals to you.

Taking a quick look at the Slots category, we found releases based on famous film, TV, and video game franchises such as Deadwood, Street Fighter II, and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, for example, mixed in with the most popular titles like Book of Dead, Fire Joker, and Reactoonz. All in all, then, we thought the choice of games was wide but also packed with innovative releases with wildly different game mechanics, bonus round features, and top prizes.

As for the Table Games tab, however, we were sorely disappointed, as there were only five choices available and not a single one of them was related to the classics of roulette, blackjack, baccarat, sic bo, or dragon tiger. Instead, you’ll have to make do with the following: Caribbean Stud Poker (three types with different buy-ins), Casino Hold’em, and Red Dog Progressive. Therefore, we have to dock points here for a complete lack of choice for other table games.

Casino Jefe Jackpot Slots

Things improved dramatically in the Jackpots section and we were very pleased to see a live feed of the currency prize pool totals displayed on each of the game icons while browsing. Most of Microgaming’s massive progressive jackpot titles were present, with the largest multi-million ones at the time of writing being Mega Moolah: Atlantean Treasures, Wheel of Wishes, and Mega Moolah: Absolootly Mad. However, the list of available titles was by no means as comprehensive as those featured at rival brands, so you’ll have to make do with around less than 30 such titles – unless more get added by the time you come to join the site.

Live Casino Games

Rest assured, you'll be able to enjoy some high-quality live dealer games here, all of which will come straight to your device in high-definition with cameras covering multiple angles for the best gaming experience. On top of that are additional features such as a chat functionality that allows players to communicate with the professional croupiers and other online players.

Usability

We have to admit that we weren’t at all pleased with the navigation side of things and often found ourselves having to hit the Home or the Back button to get back to the start. In fact, at the very top of the site, there is only a Casino Jefe logo for returning to the home page and a few buttons for Logging In and Depositing, for example. There are no links for changing the language of the site, visiting the Games pages, or checking out the running Promotions.

To do any of the above, you need to scroll down to the bottom of the site – an almost impossible task when you’re on the Slots page, hence why we had to hit the Home button so many times. Once you manage to get to the footer, however, you can change the language from the default English to either Finnish, German, Norwegian, or Swedish – the casino’s major markets.

However, the links to other parts of the site were rather thin on the ground. You get the bizarrely named Jefe is Awesome page, which contains info about the site, promotions, and a few other things, followed by pages for things such as How to Deposit, Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Browse Games (why isn’t this at the top of the site?), and Support, for example. As for the latter, there’s also a speech bubble icon on the right-hand side for accessing the live chat.

Mobile Casino

While we did not like the layout or organization of the desktop site, there’s nothing missing from the mobile version. All of the same pages, links, and functions listed above operate in the same way – it’s just that some things are slightly rearranged to make better use of the smaller screen sizes of iPhones, iPads, and Android equivalents. And there’s no need for a dedicated app, as the site functions perfectly well when accessed directly through your mobile browser of choice. All it really needs is a better system of accessing the most important parts of the site by employing a dropdown menu at the very top of every page – the same goes for the regular version. In terms of games, we couldn’t detect anything that was missing from the desktop site.

Customer Support

There is no FAQ page on Casino Jefe, which is a massive oversight in our book. Especially as it’s not the easiest site to wrestle into submission in the first place. So, we highly recommend that the people behind the brand sort this out quick sharp. Therefore, you have no option but to contact a member of the customer support team whenever you run into a spot of bother.

As we mentioned above, there is a live chat function with the absurd title of ‘15 minute support’ – i.e., it might take up to 15 minutes for someone to even bother with your inquiry. All of this pales in comparison to other sites, where you can normally be speaking with someone within 30 seconds! On the plus side, the brand will (if you request it) give you €10 if it takes any longer than 15 minutes for someone to answer your question. Note, however, that this is only during the stated opening times of between 09:00 (CET) and 01:00 (CET) seven days a week.

Another strange choice was to say that this rather poor ‘15 minute support’ option is only available to players with a Jefe Level of four or more – so what happens to the valued customers with a lesser level. We collectively shake our heads and roll our eyes at this!

Finally, there is the option to send an email over to [email protected], which can be useful during support downtime. However, the site again amazed us (and not in a good way) by saying it wasn’t its fault if your email went into their junk folder. This is terrible support!

Payment Methods

Things dramatically improve when it comes to available payment methods and, thankfully, there is a dedicated page detailing everything to the letter called How to Deposit Money. Payments in either direction can be made using Euros (EUR), British Pound Sterling (GBP), Japanese Yen (JPY), Norwegian Krone (NOK), Swedish Krona (SEK), or US Dollars (USD). As for the full list of available deposit methods, you can choose from the following options: Bank Wire Transfer, Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, Paysafecard, Trustly, Zimpler, MuchBetter, and Interac. All of these methods are advertised as transferring to your playing account instantaneously.

The same methods can be used for withdrawing your winnings, too, aside from Mastercard, Paysafecard, and Zimpler – so you’ll need an alternative lined up if any of those are your preferred way to make deposits. Processing times are very reasonable and slightly faster than most other brands with all eWallets either being instant or within 24 hours – only payments made to Visa or via a Bank Wire Transfer are stated as taking up to five business days.

Verifying your Casino Jefe Account

The terms and conditions state that once you’ve accumulated deposits totaling €2,000 (or the currency equivalent), you will need to send in copies of various documents as per the safety precautions employed by the casino. There’s nothing to worry about, however, as this is very much standard practice throughout the industry nowadays. So, when the time comes, you’ll be sent instructions for photographing the following documents: a government-approved ID (such as a passport or driver’s license); a utility, tax, or bank statement showing your full home address; and sometimes showing your source of funds depending on which method you use.

Security

Casino Jefe is fully licensed and regulated by the excellent Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), so we have no doubts that the company is being run very well indeed. This license also enables the online casino to operate in various territories across Europe and beyond. And for added peace of mind, the site employs 128-bit SSL encryption to protect your personal and financial information whenever you’re transferring your details over to the company’s servers. Additionally, GDPR protections in Europe ensure that your data will be handled correctly.

Final Verdict

We had high hopes for Casino Jefe while we were still in the first impressions stage of our review, but as we dug deeper, we identified some serious flaws such as the over-the-top wagering requirements on some of the bonuses. Navigating around the site was painful at times, too, and the 15-minute support guarantee was full of troublesome holes that didn’t sit well with us. Nevertheless, we feel that all of these things can be improved in the very near future and felt like the basic structure and the leveling up system were very well done. So, while we definitely can’t give full marks here, we feel that that might change at some point. For the moment, though, we have our reservations about this site, but we’re hoping for better days for the brand ahead.

The slots collection is pretty decent, as I've found the likes of 3-reel, 5-reel, and even 3D video slots there. Sometimes when I'm bored, I play some jackpots as well, though my wins have been modest (about €65 now). I like this casino more because it runs well on my smartphone, but it's the fact that it's easy to access this place that I love. The games I want to play, for instance, are easy enough to locate. I love how fast the agents are in regards to verifying my account as in my case where I got the go-ahead on my account within 48 hours. The loyalty program is cool but only because it's easy to level up and get rewards. It's fun that wager-fee spins are awarded because I, at the least, get to win real money asap.

It's funny that they found it logical to attach a wagering requirement of 50x to the welcome bonus. How do they expect anybody to beat that? I don't mind the country restrictions, this is a heads-up for people who would mind such.

I love the support for multiple currencies as I'm someone who travels a lot, so I don't want to deal with currency exchange fees. Aside from that, the game library is pretty well-done with video slots, table games, and progressive jackpots available to play. I've won €56 and €91 on Mega Moolah: Absolootly Mad and Wheel of Wishes respectively. Now, as for the bonuses to look out for, I only have eyes for the free spins. I've only deposited once, but I've tasted 94 wager-free bonus spins, so I doubt I won't be making another deposit soon. I only play on my Samsung S9 and it has been a lag-free experience throughout. Heck, I've been playing through Firefox as the casino also skips on the offering an app to download.

Some bonuses on the website carry absurd wagering requirements such as a 50 times wager-time. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any live dealer games.

For The loyalty program set up in this online casino is one of more player-friendly ones I've discovered. I like it because the points exchange system is fair. My favourite games to play are video slots and jackpots with some live games mixed in. I found games in the first two category, and I've won €125 so far. The search bar at the top of the screen makes navigating this website extremely easy especially when I'm trying to find a particular game. I also like the fact that I only need a browser to play and not an app that'll eat up space on my S7.I tried the live chat option and they do provide informative answers rather than links for me to peruse and look for answers.

Against I'm against the wagering requirements imposed on the bonus as I need wager my bonus winnings 50 times before I'll be able to withdraw it. I noticed that the live chat takes too long to answer (almost 15 minutes) and the support is also only available from 10:00 to 00:00, seven days a week.
