The industry giant, Pragmatic Play, and its counterpart, Reel Kingdom, hadn’t released another ‘Big Bass’ installment for a while.

You’re new to the iGaming streets if you think this new Pragmatic Play and Reel Kingdom release has a different design. Instead, it presents the same ol’ underground environment used in the series’ prequels.
The Big Bass Bonanza 1000 brings back the transparent 5 by 3 gameboard partitioned by rising bubbles. However, the aquatic ecosystem doesn’t seem to thrive, as only rocks and a few fish exist under the green, murky waters.
The design remains the same, even after you enter the free spins. But it's still appealing to one’s eye, and the upbeat guitar melody makes the outdoor design more glamorous.

The usual symbols, including the fisherman wild, return to this new online slot. There are 10 regular symbols, comprising colourful playing cards for the lows and thematic symbols for the highs.
Given that the slot has 10 paylines, you win when a number of identical symbols appear on adjacent reels and predefined paylines from the leftmost reel to the right. The corresponding winning combination’s multiplier is indicated in the dynamic paytable.
Since the payout rules are relatively simple, let’s examine the Big Bass Bonanza 1000 symbols and their payouts.
The 10, J, and Q playing cards are worth 0.2x to 5x, while the K and A award 0.2x to 10x the bet the stake for 3+ OAK, respectively.
Then, the high-paying Tackle Box and Fishing Rod award 2x to 50x, while the Dragon Fly pays 3x to 100x the bet for 3+ of the same. The Floater is the highest-paying symbol, worth 0.5x to 200x the stake for 2+ of its kind.
I skipped the Fish symbols since they double up as the Money symbols. They pay 1x to 20x for 3+ along a payline, and also carry random 2x to 1000x the bet money values, which you can win during the free spins.
The last of the symbols in the Big Bass Bonanza 1000 is the Fisherman Wild. It appears on all reels only during the free spins and substitutes for all the symbols except the Scatter.
Although the base game is bare-bones, the free spins have a fair share of action to keep you locked in the fishing adventure.
Manage 3, 4, or 5 scatters to trigger 10, 15, or 20 free spins, respectively. Whenever 2 scatters appear without the 3rd, another one can appear on the Big Bass Bonanza 1000 screen through:
Every wild during the free spins also collects all the money symbol values on the screen. Further, all the wilds that appear will also accumulate for the rest of the feature.
Every 4th wild collected retriggers 10 more free spins and increases the money symbol collection multiplier to 2x, 3x, and 10x for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd retriggers, respectively. The multiplier applies to the retriggered spins, but the feature cannot be retriggered after the 3rd retrigger.
Randomly, the Fish money symbols can appear when at least 1 wild appears on the Big Bass Bonanza 1000 screen after a free spin.
Further, when there are wilds but no money symbols, a Bazooka Animation can randomly add a number of money symbols. Finally, wild and money symbols can appear on the screen after a spin through a Hook Animation.
You can activate the ante bet and boost the bet multiplier by +50%. In return, it increases your chances of naturally triggering the free spins. However, it deactivates the buy feature.
The Big Bass Bonanza 1000 also lets you instantly trigger the bonus rounds from the base game, as follows:
This video slot is uncomplicated, considering it’s part of a series with straightforward games. Better still, it has a familiar 5-reel and 3-row playing interface.
Since it has 10 paylines, you win when you manage symbols of a kind on adjacent reels and along the predefined paylines, as displayed in the paytable, from the leftmost to the right. Wins are evaluated by multiplying the selected stake by the corresponding winning combination’s paytable value.
You can wager between €0.10 and €375 for every Big Bass Bonanza 1000 spin.
Pick an ideal amount within your betting range and click the Spin button to start a single round. You can also use the Autoplay function to play several rounds automatically.
The expected RTP for this slot is 96.51%, which doesn’t change when using the ante bet and buy options. In the meantime, the slot has high volatility and a maxed-out win of 20,000x the stake!
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’ve never seen an entertainment production spanning over 25 editions and still counting. Come on! Even the James Bond movie series only reached 23 films before ending! However, Pragmatic Play and Reel Kingdom seem to be looking for a world-breaking record for the most extensive iGaming series ever!
The duo took a minute to consider the ‘1000’ edition for its popular ‘Big Bass’ brand. And now that the Big Bass Bonanza 1000 is finally here, I’m not sure it’s a massive advancement from its predecessors.
Typically, slots within the ‘1000’ brand tend to have up to 1,000x the bet multipliers. And while this fishing slot has up to 1000x bet money symbol values, it can’t compare to Big Bass Bonanza Megaways’ maximum money value of 4,000x the stake.
In short, it’s a downgrade, which goes against the known ‘1000’ brand rule. Even worse, the slot’s features aren’t original, which doesn’t make the game stand out. So, having said that, I don’t think I’d be returning to this game beyond this review!
