This release comes with a neat design. So, it's easy to locate the glowing hexagonal button on the left side. That's the play button in the Dark slot game. It displays the bet value, and clicking on it will make the 5x4 grid spin. As expected, every user can press the + and – signs to regulate the bet. You will find thirteen options available to all players. The lowest amount that any player can use is €0.40, while the maximum is €100 per spin.
This time, the autoplay feature is found in the lower-left corner. Players are free to select the number of auto-rounds (including an infinite number) and set specific limits. The Buy Bonus button lets you purchase a bonus round. You can expect access to a few other options by pressing the three lines. From this column, you can regulate the sound effects and music and analyze the payouts and symbols.
Nine regular symbols can land on the matrix of the Dark video slot. What they all have in common is how they bring prizes. Namely, one must wait to hit three, four, or five matching icons on one of the 40 paylines for a prize. The low-value icons are represented by light-blue playing card values. They start with the Jacks and end with the Aces. In this case, all playing card values provide identical prizes worth between 10 and 100 times the line bet.
The other five regular icons are geometric shapes. First, we have the yellow Cylinder, which pays between 15 and 200 times the line stake. Next, there's a purple Pyramid that offers the same rewards. The Cube pays way more. We're talking about prizes worth between 20 and 400 times your bet per line.
Furthermore, the Dodecahedron will help players get between 25 and 500 times the line bet. At the last position on this list is the top-paying regular symbol – the Sphere. It pays between 50 and 2000 times your line bet. Remember that the Bonus, Special, and Wild icons present in this slot don't provide any cash prizes.
There are a few Dark bonus features that will entertain you. We will mention the Wild icon first. It looks like a big W sign on a rock. The Wild icon counts as any regular icon when it can help players finish winning combinations. Another exciting thing about this symbol is that it appears stacked on the second, third, fourth, and fifth reels. 16 Wilds on the matrix will boost your winnings.
Then we have the green B sign. This is the slot's Bonus icon. When players have three or more Bonus icons anywhere on the reels, they will access the bonus game. In this mini-game, you will get three, five, or seven Dark free spins. Their number depends on the number of Bonus symbols that have activated this round. Even though these B signs can appear during free spins, too, they cannot re-trigger this mode.
The S, or the Smartsoft icon, to be more precise, can appear on the fifth reel. When it shows up there, it turns itself and a few other randomly chosen icons into Wilds. As we said before, you can buy the bonus game (free spins) by paying a certain amount of money (Buy Bonus feature). Also, the game lets you activate a Risk Game after any winning turn. You have to select the color of the face-down card and make the right choice to get your amount doubled.
We've almost come to the end of our in-depth Dark slot review. What's missing here is the information about the slot's volatility and RTP. For some reason, the info about the Dark RTP and volatility is kept hidden by the creators.
