Dice is a provably fair game, meaning that it’s based on accurate mathematical calculations and “aided” by random number generator software rather than the other way around.
In this game, you only have to move the slider to predict whether the target will land “Higher” or “Lower” than your mark. Regarding graphics and visuals, Hacksaw Gaming’s Dice follows the minimalistic design of most provably fair games, featuring a mellow backing track and straightforward visuals.
The game of Dice does not feature any symbols. It comes supplied with a slider that allows you to “set the target”, and as soon as you’ve set your wager and pressed “Bet”, a digital dice will appear above the slider to tell you which number was chosen.
What sets Dice apart from regular slots is that it pays based on the probability of the outcome. In other words, you’ll receive lower payouts for “safe” bets (where the win probability is over 50%) and vice versa.
The lowest target you can set is the 1.05x multiplier, which offers a 93.07% chance of winning. Conversely, the highest target has only a 1.98% chance of winning, but it offers a whopping 49.49% payout.
The betting range starts as low as €0.10 and goes up to €100, meaning you can potentially win up to €4,949 on max bet settings.
Every single feature of Dice can be described as a “Bonus” feature since you won’t see any of such functions in a normal game of dice. These include the Autoplay and the Limiting Tools, so let me briefly explain how each feature works.
By default, Dice is set in the “Manual” throwing mode, meaning that you can adjust your betting size and targets before manually pressing the Spin button to roll. However, you can tap “Auto” at the top of the sidebar, which functions similarly to the Auto-spin feature you’ll find in traditional slots.
The limiting tools are only available in Autoplay. They’re used to customize your auto-rolling experience, allowing you to set the desired number of rounds, loss limits, and single-win limits. I should also emphasize that using them is optional, as you can choose the “No Limit” option to disable the selected function temporarily.
The “Number of Rounds” bar allows you to choose between 10, 25, 50, 75, 100, 500, and 1,000 rounds. You can always stop the Autoplay if you’ve set the limit higher than you wanted.
The “Loss Limit” is a handy tool that will instantly disable Autoplay as soon as the selected threshold has been reached. Available options include 5x, 20x, 50x, and “Custom” - the latter allows you to input a custom amount of cash that will be used instead of the provided multipliers.
Finally, the “Single Win Limit” tool is the opposite of the Loss Limit. It’s designed to stop Autoplay mode automatically as soon as you’ve hit a big win, such as 10x, 20x, or 75x of your bet (Custom is also available).
The “Flip Roll” button swaps the Low-High design to the High-Low design, relocating the highest payouts and multipliers from the right side to the left.
The goal of Hacksaw Gaming’s Dice is quite simple. You set the target by moving the slider, and if the dice shows a number within the range you selected, you win the listed multiplier on your wager.
The volatility level of Dice is variable because you’re the one in control of it. Any D100 dice has a random chance of showing any number of 1-100, but it’s up to you to choose the target’s “over-under” range by moving the slider.
The RTP is also variable, as the safest outcomes are practically guaranteed to win, and vice versa. According to Hacksaw’s official data, the lowest RTP is 88%, while the highest is a whopping 98%.
Dice took the best features of its more traditional counterpart and empowered it with simple yet innovative modern features. I adore every aspect of Hacksaw’s Dice and will play it for real cash as soon as it becomes available. If you want to demo Dice for free, use our links to play it on our website.
