How to play

This game has an intuitive layout. There’s a line separating the dragon and tiger spaces where cards are dealt. The betting positions – Dragon, Tiger, Tie, and Suited Tie – are located below and clearly marked. To begin, decide how much you’d like to bet on the current hand. The table limit is $500 overall. You can wager up to €500 each on Dragon or Tiger bets, or €100 max for tie bets. Casino chips range in value from €5 to €500.

To place a wager, first select a casino chip, then click one of the bet types on the table. Repeat clicks will add additional chips of the same value. Press deal when you’re ready to begin the round. There are even a couple of options to customize your game. You can adjust the sound effects and dealer voice, turn on Squeeze, or set up Autoplay. Autoplay can deal 10 to 100 hands in a row using the most recent bet.

Symbols and payouts

The game will deal just two cards – one each to the Dragon and Tiger positions. Wins are awarded based on the point values of the cards. This table game counts points as you would in poker. Aces are always worth one point, two through 10 are their face values, and Jacks, Queens, and Kings are counted as 11, 12, and 13 points. Once the points are tallied, there are four possible outcomes. The Dragon will win, the Tiger will win, the cards will tie in value, or the cards will tie in value and suit.

The odds of winning each outcome affect how much you can win. Both Tiger and Dragon bets have 1:1 odds, meaning you’re as likely to win as you are to lose. This prize pays back double your bet amount. If you bet on Dragon or Tiger wins but the hand ends in a tie, you’ll receive half your bet amount back. A tie bet is riskier with 11:1 odds. You can win 11x your bet, plus ½ of the initial bet amount. The riskiest bet is a suited tie (meaning the cards will match in suit and number) with odds of 50:1. This would pay 50x your bet, plus ½ of the initial bet amount.

As a very simple example, let’s say that a Dragon outcome is recorded four times in a row. You know that the odds of Dragon and Tiger wins are equal. You might switch your bets to the Tiger after noticing a streak of Dragon wins. The largest scoreboard tracks the order of wins for each hand – D-D-T-D-T, for example. The second board tracks whether the same outcome occurs multiple times in a row. The third, fourth, and fifth boards update with even more complex information the longer you play. It’s a great opportunity for players to engage in a tactical approach to play.
