This vintage game is very basic and plays within three reels and very limited paylines - five to be precise. The first line lies straight in the middle, while the second and third represent the top and lower rows, respectively. The fourth is diagonal from top left to the bottom right, while the fifth is diagonal from the bottom left to the top right. To achieve wins in this Dragon Wheel slot is simple; just match three symbols from left to right in a row across any of the five winning ways.
You should aim to land a variety of identical symbols that come in various colours, and offer varying rewards determined by what you land. However, we’ll dwell more on the symbols in the next section; so, stick around. While playing, you’ll notice the reels stopping gradually on one of the segments, giving you an idea of where it will stop. Fortunately, the game is available in flash mode and compatible with most devices.
The symbols that cascade down the Dragon Wheel slot reels spell a very traditional environment. To begin with, there are two blue and fiery “7s” icons. The fiery seven seems too close to the dragon as it glows red due to the flames swamping it. The two sevens are the highest rewarding characters and will also gain you an additional bonus award for landing a combo of them.
Another interesting aspect of this vintage game is the appearance of the single, double, and triple bar symbols. Like the seven characters, these will also produce wins when you land three in a row of each identical icons. Additionally, they produce a complimentary award when you collect a combo of three.
Other than the 7s and bar icons, you’ll also come across a wild inscribed with the name “double” on it. And, you’ve probably guessed right that where the wild replaces another symbol and produces a win, then the win amount doubles up. Further, in the base game, you’ll encounter a “Pay Five” icon. It delivers a free spin besides winning five credits - an equal amount as each spin's value.
Lastly, there are also small wheel icons representing the larger wheels above the reels. These trigger the bonus feature.
Landing three of the small wheel symbols consecutively across a payline will take you to the Dragon Wheel bonus feature. A snake will then appear and whirl around the screen before you can touch the screen to commence the complimentary round.
During the round, you’ll see a series of segments containing various credit wins. The lowering amount is 20 credits, while the highest amount is 1,000 credits. A pointer in vision will then revolve clockwise around the wheel, and you’ll win whichever amount it lands on. The wheel is slightly different from the norm as the pointer stops suddenly, making it hard to predict your bonus win. As you might see, some of the bonus icons on the third reel are “2 bonus spins” and “3 bonus spins.” If the pointer lands on any of these, you’ll receive two or three Dragon Wheen free spins, respectively. So, your bonus wheel activation could potentially be highly lucrative!
The Dragon Wheel RTP is not known to the public. However, you expect to achieve less frequent wins when compared to five reel video slots. Nevertheless, the payouts tend to be somewhat larger once you land a winning combo. Therefore, it’s safe to assume this title is highly volatile but with various exciting experiences.
