The setup for this video slot is a little unusual, but it makes for a flexible game. There are five reels and four rows to play across. This slot has adjustable paylines, and it defaults to 40 when you load the game. You can opt to play with just one payline per spin. Or, if you’re feeling bold, you can play with all 178 lines at once. To place your bet, you’ll need to raise or lower the bet per line.
Whatever value you choose for each line will automatically be multiplied by the number of lines you’ve selected. Line bets range from €0.05 to €0.50. The smallest stake per spin is therefore $0.05 (one payline), and the largest is €89.00 (178 paylines). There are very few ways to customize your experience. You can mute the game from the settings menu or turn on Autoplay by right-clicking the spin button.
All wins in this game are paid out from left to right. Each prize is presented as a win multiplier, and these multipliers will always be applied to your line bet. As you might expect, there’s a bunch of fresh fruits ripe for the picking. From lowest to highest in value, there are blueberries, lemons, plums, blackberries, apples, oranges, watermelons, and raspberries. The raspberries pay 120x your line bet for five on a payline. Next, there are a couple of other classic symbols. Five each of 7s, bells, or diamonds will earn you 120x, 150x, and 150x your line bet, respectively.
The most valuable symbol in the game is the Joker Wild. Five wilds will award 600x your line bet. It can substitute for any of the normal symbols above to create a winning line. Finally, there is a Horseshoe scatter. This does not offer a payout, but it is needed for Fruits free spins. Three or more horseshoes will award you 15 free games at a time. These are played with the same bets and lines as the base game. You can retrigger this feature and claim up to 50 free spins in a row.
There are three additional bonus features. Your progress toward each of these can be seen during the base game. There are three small rows of symbol outlines above the betting controls, with five outlines to a row. One row is for grapes, another for dice, and the third is for cherries. When three bunches of grapes land during one spin, that will fill in one of the grape outlines. You have to do this five times to trigger the Fruit Pursuit feature. Two dice on the reels fill in one Dice Bonus, and three cherries fill in one Cherry Spin outline.
In Fruit Pursuit, you’ll receive a shipment of 20 boxes to sort through. Most of these have fresh fruit inside, but three of them contain worms and grasshoppers. Each fresh box adds to your wins, but uncovering all three rotten boxes ends the feature with no prize. However, you can choose to walk away with your profits whenever you want. If you uncover all 17 fresh boxes, you’ll win 126,000x your line bet. The Dice Bonus game asks you to roll a die without rerolling any number for up to 26,600x your line bet. Finally, locate as many cherries as possible in Cherry Spins for 88,750x your line bet.
The Fruits RTP is set to 92%. This is incredibly low for a video slot, but average for a progressive video slot. Every payline win contributes toward a Jackpot Spin prize, the size and payout frequency of which is unknown at this time. In our experience, the game demonstrates low to medium volatility for a steady experience and relatively low risk. However, the exact volatility is unknown.
