You might think this ELK Studios game is based on the 2019 TV show, which took an inside look into the world of an armored combat league.

ELK Studios is no stranger to the medieval realm, as the company previously took players to Micro Knights. While some of the characters in this new slot, such as the purple dragon, are similar to the earlier example, the two games are like night and day mechanically.
But this review isn’t about decoding their differences.
Knight Fight is set in a mystical forest. Four characters move about the 6 by 6 transparent reels, collecting crests and prizes. The gameplay is heavy on premium visuals and entertaining animations, which are complemented by a soothing soundtrack and immersive sound effects.
You’re probably accustomed to the typical paylines or ways slots and expect the same in this online slot. However, the paytable has four crests for its regulars and four knights who collect crests of the same color through a CollectR™ system.
The paytable crests’ values are dynamic based on the current bet.
The crest symbols are upgradable to higher payouts up to the seventh level. The win values increase depending on the symbols’ upgrade levels.
The Blue and Green Crests are the low-paying symbols in Knight Fight. They are worth 0.05x to 10 and 15 times the stake, respectively. Then, the Purple and Red Crests award the high-valued wins from 0.1x to 20 and 50 times the bet, respectively.
Those symbols are just the tip of the iceberg, as this slot also includes a mile of special symbols that can trigger its features. However, I’ll show you more about them in the following segment!
Since this slot has tons of features, let’s get straight into it—I’m sure you’re as eager as I am to discover them!
This game has four collecting knights moving around the grid, collecting identical crest symbols and all feature symbols. The collection happens when the knight moves to vertically or horizontally adjacent collectable symbols.
If there are more collectable symbols, the knights will continue moving until they can’t collect more symbols. As such, a knight can move severally in descending order of symbol payout before a symbol refill.
A symbol collection meter floats on the right side of the Knight Fight reels, tracking the collected crest and wild symbols. It continues to count the collected symbols until the knights can’t collect more symbols.
You receive a pending feature symbol release once the meter is full. Up to three feature symbol releases can be stacked simultaneously. You’re awarded a feature symbol release just before a goat becomes evil, before the dragon flame strikes, as part of the initial free drop in the bonus game, or when the knights have finished collecting symbols.
A feature symbol release transforms random crests into random feature symbols. Also, a knight that collects a feature symbol triggers its feature as follows:
Any adjacent knights may “Switcheroo” and switch places vertically or horizontally when they can’t collect more symbols. But it may only happen when it can unlock new symbols or clusters.
In Knight Fight, 3+ orthogonally adjacent knights will fight in a random grid area. As a result, the coins, bonus, goats, and dragon egg symbols along the cloud’s path will be automatically collected while crests are ejected. The knights redrop after the fight, and a symbol refill happens.
Collecting 3 bonus symbols during the normal mode triggers the bonus mode with 5 free drops! The feature starts with the currently active number of rows and columns. The current progress on the symbol collection spills into the feature, and any pending feature symbol releases will be released as part of the initial free drop.
The grid size, collection meter progress, crest symbols’ payout levels, and the collection of additional bonus symbols persist during this feature. A further 3 bonus symbols collected during the free drops award additional drops.
As with ELK Studios' slots, this game offers five choices for buying different game modes. The prices vary from 3x to 500x the bet depending on the selected bonus mode!
First, you can acquaint yourself with the slot's pretty long and complicated list of features using its free demo, which is available here!
For instance, it may take some time to master the CollectR engine, which entails four knights moving around th grid collecting matching crests and all feature symbols. Meanwhile, the default 6x6 reels can expand up to 8x8, and symbols appear normally.
Knight Fight lets players wager between €0.20 and €100 bets. You play the selected bet for a single round using the Spin button or for several auto-spins using the Autoplay feature.
Lastly, the game also provides access to the rules, settings, paytable, and promotions through the Menu icon.
The developer hasn’t officially declared the volatility yet. However, the game’s theoretical RTP is 94%, while the maximum win is capped at 10,000 times the stake!
I wonder what prompted ELK Studios to reskin their earlier Pirots 2 slot. My guess is that it performed exceptionally, but the Swedish developer didn’t want to make it obvious that it was repeating the earlier release’s gameplay.
Frankly, if you enjoyed the CollectR mechanics but weren’t excited about the previous theme, then the medieval chaps competing to outdo each other will excite you. Furthermore, Knight Fight has several feature symbols that come in handy when it comes to boosting your gambling experience.
Under the fair share of niceties, which include the 10,000x bet, the game also has its downsides, as mentioned in the cons section. First, I’m pretty sure the features won’t be so straightforward for everybody unless they take the time to try the free demo—which you can find here!
Further, why is this developer hellbent on adopting a 94% RTP yet it's below average? I may sound slightly biased, but I never hate ELK slots. So, if you’re like me, a chance to try this game to see if it fits your gambling needs won’t hurt!
