Lucky Lemons Bonus Features

This jackpot slot comes supplied with three bonus features. There’s the Lemon Booster that can add a multiplier to the next Lemon Collect trigger, the “Hold and Win” style bonus round that can be triggered by any collected Lemon, and Free Spins, where all core features receive a welcome upgrade.

Lemon Booster

When you launch Lucky Lemons, you’ll see a big wheel sitting on top of the playing field with fancy “Lemon Booster” spelled out. This progressive bonus multiplier applies the currently displayed multiplier on the first batch of collected lemons you trigger with the “Collect” symbol. 

The Lemon Booster meter goes up by +1 whenever the symbol “1UP” is drawn and resets to 1x whenever it applies its multiplier. 

Lemon Collection

In this slot, Lemons are essentially “coins” that offer instant cash prizes ranging from 0.2x to 50x of your bet, but only if you’re lucky enough to draw the “Collect” symbol on the 5th reel. 

Bonus Round

Snowborn Games calls it the bonus round, but this feature can also be nicknamed Jackpot Drawings. This is a chance-based event that you can trigger by drawing Lemons without Collectors. Instead of giving you a flat cash prize, Lemons will jump into the big “Bonus” icon on the playing field's left side. 

Once the Bonus Round is triggered, the playing field is emptied, and only Lemons and Prize symbols can be drawn. The free spins counter begins at 3 and refills whenever a new symbol lands.

Prize symbols are required to claim Mini (30x), Minor (100x), or Major (500x) jackpots, while the Mega Jackpot requires you to fill the entire table with any symbols. Regular jackpots are won by collecting three Prize symbols of the same kind.

Free Spins 

If you draw 3 Crown scatter symbols anywhere on the table, you’ll instantly receive 1.5x of your current bet and 10 free spins. The FS round improves the Lemon Booster by making its multiplier “sticky” for the duration of free spins, but it can only go up to 10x. 

1UP symbols are required to trigger additional free spins. You’ll get an extra 5 when the Lemon Booster reaches a 4x multiplier, the 7x multiplier, and finally, the 10x multiplier. 

How to Win at Lucky Lemons

Lucky Lemons features 20 fixed paylines, and all symbols pay in sets of three or more from left to right. Beyond connecting symbols of the same suit in winning combinations, Lucky Lemons allows you to score prizes by collecting Lemons and by participating in the “Bonus” (jackpot drawing) round.

If we consider that jackpot wins and collected Lemons are included in this calculation, then it would be accurate to say that this slot returns most of the cash and then some. However, Lucky Lemons is a medium volatile game where standard paying symbols almost feel like a side feature. 

Final Verdict

I adored Lucky Lemons at certain times, but there were situations where it felt frustrating to play. It’s not the kind of game I’d recommend to beginners or people looking to unwind with a few dozen spins, but it is a fair game that rewards persistence.
