How to play 

Pompeii features a 3x5-reel layout with 243 different ways to win. To win a bet, you have to match at least three identical symbols from the far left reel to the right on an active payline. To bet, you need at least €0.50 while the maximum you can play gets as high as €125 - perfect for low to medium rollers. 

There are two categories, with the lower-paying ones being generic poker values A, K, Q, and J, and the numbers 10 and 9. Landing five A's on an active payline awards the maximum payout of 200 coins. On the other end, hitting five 9's will pay the least of 100 coins. 

The higher-paying symbol category contains the red/gold shield, war helmet, sword and shield, and the war chariot. If you can land five red/gold shields on an active payline, you'll be awarded 2,500 coins. Alternatively, hitting five war chariots on an active payline pays out 1,000 coins instead.

The Wild is the erupting volcano symbol, which only appears on reels 2 and 4 to substitute for every symbol in the video slot. One exception to this rule of substitution is the Scatter. The Wild also awards the multiplier effect - multiplying your line bet by two and five whenever you land a Wild on reel 2 or 4. Land it on both reels instead, and you'll be given a 15x multiplier. 

The Scatter is represented by the gold coin, which also triggers the free spins round. Whenever you land three Scatters, you'll be awarded 10 free spins. Land four and five Scatters instead, and you'll be given 15 and 20 free spins respectively. The best thing about the free spins round is that it can be re-triggered.
