How to play

The Starburst slot offers a standard 5x3 grid layout and the game comes with 10 paylines in total. The first little trick in the game is that these paylines actually double up and work both left to right and right to left, which gives you 20 ways to win in total. In terms of game rules, this is about as technical as it gets. You need to match up at least three symbols to trigger a winning payline and four or five symbols obviously help to bring in bigger prizes. 

Again, the attraction for casual gamers is there for all to see with its minimum €0.10 per spin amount, which then goes up to a maximum €100 per spin bet total. You can fine-tune your betting amount using the Bet Level which goes from 1-10 and the Coin Value which offers €0.01 to €1.00. Symbols and payouts

You cannot help but be charmed by the colorful graphics of Starburst but those symbols hold more than just appealing aesthetics. The lower value symbols involved are five colored jewels that hold the payout ranges of 3x to 60x your line bet. The yellow jewel holds the most value with its 60x multiplier, which is then followed by the green, orange, blue, and purple jewels. The symbol collection is then completed with the Lucky 7 and BAR icons. The Lucky 7 can pay out up to 120x your line bet and the BAR holds the biggest symbol prize which is worth 250x your line bet.

Starburst evaluates its paylines in both directions. Keep a line-bet payout separate from the total stake: with EUR 100 divided over ten lines, a 500x line-bet award is EUR 5,000 for that qualifying line. Multiple winning lines may add together according to the paytable. The multicoloured Wild is the game’s special symbol, described below.

Best Starburst bonus feature

The Starburst bonus round is based around the multicolor Wild star symbol, and as mentioned, this is the only special symbol available in the game. This Wild can substitute for all other symbols including the jewels and the Lucky 7 and BAR symbols as well. It will only fall on the second, third, and fourth reels during gameplay though, but it does have lucrative expanding powers which will dramatically increase your winning payline potential.

If the Wild expands over one of the reels then it will not only help to combine winning paylines, but it will also trigger a re-spin and the maximum number of re-spins available here is three. Like we have said all along, this is a game that is not exactly bursting with features and there are no specific Starburst free spins as such, but the entertainment and fun factor are still sky-high. BAR symbols and Wilds can form winning combinations, but they do not guarantee a profitable session.
