How to Play

When gambling on this online slot, ensure your device is connected to a strong internet source for smooth sessions. Launch the slot on a mobile or desktop device and click past the Splash screen to access the main interface. You’ll find six reels and three rows, which use the scatter pays functionality. So, identical symbols pay anywhere on the screen.

Like most experienced gamblers ensure you choose a stake based on your playing budget. Press the Plus or Minus icons to open the Sword of Ares slot bet settings panel. This game allows users to stake between 1-10 bet levels, €0.01 to €0.5 coin values, and €0.20 to €100 total bets per spin.

Close the tab and tap on Spin to gamble once. Or, access the Autoplay and choose to spin continuously for several rounds. The Turbo and Quickspin modes toggle between different game speeds. Finally, the paytable is accessible using the info (i) button.

Symbols and Payouts

The Sword of Ares slot game consists of nine regular symbols, four Bomb icons, and a scatter. The symbols perform varying functions and award distinct prizes, but you can view all of them from the paytable. At least eight of the same icon on-screen at the end of a spin will determine the value of your win. When winning with multiple symbols, all wins will accumulate to the total payout. All wins are multiplicable to the base win.

The Purple, Blue, Green, Pink, and Turquoise Gemstones are the low-win symbols. They give out between 0.25x and 3x your base stake when you hit eight to thirty of the same. The Sword, Shield, Chariot, and Helmet are high-paying symbols. If you collect eight or more of the same, you’ll pocket from 1.5x and 20x the total bet.

Meanwhile, Ares’s image acts as the scatter symbol which can give out 3-100x your current stake when four to six scatters appear on the grid. It doesn’t participate in tumbles and cannot be exploded by Bombs. The following Sword of Ares slot review page includes the bonus details.

Best Sword of Ares Bonus Feature

In every winning spin, the Tumble feature activates, causing all paying icons to disappear. The other symbols drop to the reels’ bottom and empty spaces become filled with new symbols coming from above. The number of cascades has no limits but this Sword of Ares bonus mode ends when no additional winning sequences land as a result of the tumbles.

There's a meter located above the reels and it contains three and six locked multipliers during the base and free spins, respectively. At every spin and tumble, the number of exploded symbols is collected. At the end of all cascades, the cumulative win will be subject to the largest multiplier unlocked, as shown:

  • 1st multiplier (after 20 icons explode) - 2x to 4x.
  • 2nd multiplier (after exploding 50 symbols) - 5x to 8x.
  • 3rd multiplier (after 100 icons are exploded) - 9x to 15x.

The Gold Bomb symbols hit randomly during spins and tumbles in any game mode. When one-plus hit, they remain on-screen until no more tumbles occur. Then, they explode, removing all icons from the grid vertically, horizontally, X, or cross patterns. If new paying sequences land, as a result, the tumbles will continue.

Hit 4+ scatters on any reel positions to receive 15 non-re-triggerable Sword of Ares free spins. During these bonus rounds, the multiplier gauge has six progressively larger values:

  • 1st multiplier (2x-4x) unlocks after exploding 15 symbols.
  • 2nd (5x-8x) rewards after 30 icons explode.
  • 3rd (9x-15x) awards after exploding 45 symbols.
  • 4th (16x-32x) unlocks after 60 icons detonate.
  • 5th (35x-100x) pays after unlocking 100 symbols.
  • 6th (150x-500x) rewards after detonating 225 icons.

You can instantly trigger the bonus games from the main rounds using the Buy Bonus feature at 100x the current total bet. The Sword of Ares RTP when playing bought spins is 96.39%.
