How to play

Thunderstruck has five reels, three rows, and nine paylines. For you to kickstart the action, you must first set your bet. The +/- buttons control the bet size and this can be adjusted by setting the coin value to anything between 0.01 and 1.00. You can also adjust the number of coins you’d like to wager. This can be set to anything from 1 to 5 coins per line.

The gameplay controls are neatly arranged underneath the 5x3 slot layout. All you’ll find in this category are the Balance and Bet boxes, Spin, Stop, Settings, Autoplay, and Close buttons. There’s also the Collect, Bet Max, and the Gamble button. To make a winning combination, you must land at least three matching symbols on the reels. Note that all wins pay from left to right, except Scatters which pays both ways.

The Paytable Achievement feature tracks your wins as it highlights symbol combinations that you’ve won. Even when you exit the game, your achievements are permanently highlighted on the payout table. 

Symbols and payouts

The symbols you’ll find in this slot include the Thor, Thor’s hammer, staff, the 9, 10, J, Q, K, and A card symbols. Of course, the ones you want to pay attention to are the Thor’s Hammer, Castle, Horn symbols, and the symbol depicting Norse mythology. The paytable is dynamic and the payouts change depending on the bet size.

The Thor symbol is the Wild symbol and it substitutes for any symbol in the slot except Scatters. It’s important to know that for every win you make with Wild in it, your winnings doubles. Thor is the highest-paying symbol in the slot. You get 1,111x your bet size if you manage to land five of them and 222x for four. If you land three, you get 22x your bet size, and 1x if you land two. 

The Scatter in the slot is depicted by the Scatter Rams symbol. Landing at least three of it activates the Free Spin feature for you. This is also the second highest-paying symbol. Five of the scatter rams symbol gives you 500x your bet size, four gives your 20x, and three gives you 5x your bet size. 

Three other high-paying symbols are the Hammer, the Staff, and the Castle. Fives of the Hammer, Staff, and Castle give 83.3x, 83.3x, and 44.4x your bet size, respectively. If you land four of these symbols, your 11x your bet size. It’s also important to know that all wins are multiplied by the credits staked per line, with Scatters being the only exception. 

Best Thunderstruck bonus feature

Let’s start with the free spin bonus round. Getting at least three Scatter Rams will activate the Thunderstruck Free Spins round. During this free spin round, all wins you make are tripled. If you manage to land at least three Scatter Rams while playing the Free Spin round, you get yourself more free spins. Scatter wins are multiplied by the total number of credits you staked and added to your payline winnings.

The Wild symbol gives you a multiplier effect when playing the free spins round. The Wild itself doubles any winning you make with it, and all winnings are tripled when playing the free spin feature. So, any winnings including a Wild while playing the free spin feature are multiplied by six.

Another Thunderstruck bonus feature is the Gamble feature. Any win activates this feature but you can choose to skip it. You get your winnings doubled if you can guess the color of the card that’s faced down correctly. If you guess the suit correctly, this quadruples your winnings. However, you lose your bet if you guess wrong. You can claim your remaining balance with the Collect option.

RTP & volatility
