    How to play

The 1st of the Irish video slot is played on six reels and five rows, with no paylines at all. Instead of landing wins on a payline, then, the wins only count when you land between five and 30 symbols together. In other words, if you get five or more identical symbols in contact with each other, either vertically or horizontally, in any shape, it turns to a win.

When you land this win, the symbols involved will disappear from the reels, leading to a cascading feature of new symbols dropping down from the top. You can spin the reels by clicking on the spin or autoplay option. The autoplay feature offers up to 100 automatic spins.

Wins are multiplied by bet, which stands between €0.08 and €20 – so it looks like it’s for low-budget players, but there are no bets per line in this game, so the betting range is quite reasonable in reality.

    Symbols and payouts

You can expect to land different Irish and Leprechaun symbols during the 1st of the Irish slot gameplay. The slot offers special symbols, like the leprechaun in a green hat acting as the wild, the clover sticky wilds, and rainbow free spins. You can land between five and 30 symbols in a cluster across the reels.

The highest paying symbol is the pot of gold offering pays between 2x and 500x your bet for landing between five and 30 symbols in clusters. Then, the gold anchor symbol will give you between 1.5x and 250x.

The harp symbol provides pays between 1x and 225x your bet when you hit between five and 30 symbols on the reels. The beer symbol will then give you 0.5x and 100x your bet for landing symbols on the reels.

Then, we have the hat and smoking pipe symbols with the same rewards. They will both give you the same with the beer symbol, between 0.5x and 100x your bet.

Finally, we have the clover and rainbow symbols with the same pays of between 0.25x and 90x your bet for landing clusters across the reels.

Best 1st of the Irish bonus features

Look out for the 1st of the Irish bonus features as you play the slot. For example, the game features the leprechaun, which is the wild, standing in for other symbols on the reels.

There are five meters in this slot, too, which are represented by the pipe, beer, clover, hat, and rainbow. Every time you land a winning combination with any of these symbols, the meter is filled by the number of symbols in the cluster. If you land the win with a wild, however, it doesn’t count. Still, you can fill up the meter more than once, and the slot will indicate how many times you did. When you fill the meter once, you get the bonus feature related to the symbol.

In the pipe feature, you get multipliers on your bets. Then, for the beer symbol, you get them in a grid of 3x3 and it turns symbols on the reels into the same one. For the clover symbol, the clovers land on the reels as sticky wilds – the number of lives it has is the number of leaves.

In the hat feature, you get eight wild symbols on the reels and cascading wins. Then, if you fill the rainbow meter, you trigger the 1st of the Irish free spins round. It will give you 12 free spins and 2x multipliers on your wins. Each time you fill up the meter, the multiplier increases by one.

    RTP & volatility

The 1st of the Irish RTP is set at 95.4%, which is slightly below average. However, you can still expect decent returns with this RTP level. It also has medium to high volatility, so average wins every now and then.
