Symbols and payouts

Those who like their slots to have a retro feel will enjoy the symbols in the Book of Diamonds slot. The highest paying symbol in the game is the titular book. As well as acting as the scatter and the wild, this pays out 250x your stake for combos of five, 25x stake for combinations of four, and 2x for combinations of three. 

Heading up the rest of the symbols is the diamond, which pays up 5,000x your stake per line for combinations of five. This is followed by the seven, which pays out 2,000x your line bet for the same amount. Next up are the bar and the bell, which both pay 750x your bet per line. It’s worth noting that these symbols also pay out for combinations of two - with the diamond paying 10x your stake, and the other three paying 5x the line bet. 

There are then five low-paying symbols. The highest of these is the watermelon and the grape, both of which pay out 150x your line stake for combos of five. The orange, lemon, and cherries are the lowest paying, giving out just 100x your stake per line for a combo of five, and 5x for three. 

Best Book of Diamonds bonus feature

The Book of Diamonds bonus features are not anything too exciting but they do give players the chance to score some big wins. The central feature is a free spins round. To trigger this, players need to land three or more of the scatter symbols on the reels. This will trigger a round of 10 free spins. 

Before the Book of Diamonds free spins round begins, players will have to spin a reel to see what is going to be the special expanding reel for the round. This expanding symbol can then fill the reels and lead to some of the game’s ‘epic win payouts, which can be quite substantial.
