The Three Little Pigs story has been featured several times in the online slot world, including in Quickspin’s Big Bad Wolf franchise. So, I hope Pragmatic Play is up to creating something equal to or better than the quoted example.

Brick House Bonanza is visually pleasing, with vibrant colours that brighten your experience. Surprisingly, a wooden frame houses the 5 by 3 reels, contrary to the title. However, once you enter the free spins bonus, the frame changes to bricks. The mischievous wolf appears periodically and blows towards the reels.

The design also includes a playful melody and ambient effects to enhance the crisp yet vibrant colours. Finally, the user interface is a typical Pragmatic display, albeit with the bonus wheel and jackpots pasted above the gameboard.

Symbols and Payouts

You can’t avoid the importance of the symbols. As such, you’ll need to befriend the paytable when playing to keep up with the payout rules, including the winning combinations and prizes.   

The game has 6 low-value and 5 high-paying symbols. Since there are 243 ways to win, all symbols pay for left-to-right matching combinations on adjacent reels, starting from the furthest left side.

All the low-paying symbols in Brick House Bonanza pay almost similar prizes. The 9 and 10 are worth 0.05x to 0.15x bet, while the J, Q, K, and A award between 0.05x and 0.2x the stake for 3+ of the same!

Anytime you hit 6+ scatters, the free spins will start with 6 rounds. At the start of the feature, the Brick House Bonanza positions of all scatters that triggered the feature will be marked with a square made of straw.

Further, during the bonus, any position that a scatter hits will be marked by a straw square if not already marked with a brick. Then, a random on-screen position will be upgraded to the next marking in the order of value.

If the scatters land when all the positions on the screen are marked with brick, nothing upgrades, and you receive an extra 10x bet for each scatter. The markings remain in position until the feature ends.

This game was straightforward to understand thanks to its conventional 5-reel and 3-row configuration. As mentioned, it offers 243 ways to win, the standard for many online slots.

Before playing, set between €0.20 and €240 from the betting panel. Then, manually spin the Brick House Bonanza reels using the crowned circle or Spacebar. If you’re not up for constantly pressing keys, use the Autoplay function to preselect and start several auto-spins.

As the reels are spinning, watch out for 3+ identical symbols that land on adjacent reels from the furthest left column. They form winning combinations, which are evaluated based on the dynamic paytable.

The Concluding Verdict

To be honest, this was an exciting and fun slot experience. However, since this game is among Pragmatic Play’s initial releases for 2025, I hope I won’t be reviewing tons of slots cloned from its gameplay as the year unfolds.

Visually, it was a crisp and well-done design revolving around a well-known fairy tale and hominoid piglets.

Although the configuration and winning process were traditional, the game’s features felt original and eventful. The free spins had marked positions and prizes for enhanced action, while the bonus wheel awarded random instant prizes.

Thankfully, the features could boost your chances of reaching the 10,000 times top win. However, with its high volatility, it may take a long time to realise the big wins. And unless your playing budget allows, I don’t think it’d be worth the risk.

Anyway, it’s safe to note that the game’s simplicity makes it an ideal pick for all types of players, especially novices. However, I’m unsure what the seasoned players who fancy complicated experiences will think about it. In simple terms, Brick House Bonanza will only work for you based on your gambling preferences.
