Finger Lick’n Free Spins Slot Review

The Finger Lick’n Free Spins Slot Game

Farmyard slots are abundant in the iGaming landscape, dating back years. So, it’s safe to assume Pragmatic Play and Reel Kingdom are taking players on a generic adventure through this farmyard-based release.

At first, I thought Finger Lick’n Free Spins is about devouring tasty chicken thighs or wings. That’s until I entered this online slot and encountered the typical wooden red barn, housing the reels.

A rooster stands next to the 5x3 gaming field, and once in a while, a fox takes up his spot. I hope the shed is strong enough to protect the chickens and eggs lined up above and below the reels from the sly fox.

The slot’s cartoonish visuals are enticing, and so is the countryside melody, which elevates the atmospheric ambience radiated by the vibrant design. For reference, the control panel is located at the bottom of the screen, providing easy access to various game functions.

Symbols and Payouts

The Finger Lick’n Free Spins slot keeps its paytable at a bare minimum. As such, it only comprises seven regular symbols and a wild. The wild can appear on all reels and substitute for all the symbols to help complete winning combinations.

The 5-reel, 3-row gameboard features 10 paylines only. To win, aim for three to five identical symbols along a predefined payline from the furthest left side to the right. Note that only the highest winning combination per payline counts, and multiple combinations are added for the final win!

Let’s get into the Finger Lick’n Free Spins symbols and their winning combinations.

The low-paying category includes the Green Q, Red K, and Purple A. These give out 0.4x, 1.2x, and 6x the bet for 3 or more of the same. Then, the high-paying tier comprises the Grain Sack, Red Barn, and Rooster, worth 0.8x, 2.4x, and 24x the bet, and the Fox, worth 2x, 10x, and 100x the stake for 3+ of the same.

For the record, the wild symbol also pays wins similar to the highest-priced Fox when 3 or more wilds complete a payline.

Finger Lick’n Free Spins Bonus Features

Most of this slot’s activity is within the free spins. It’s where direct money awards, multiplier wilds, among others, are secured, helping you win up to 6,000x the bet!

Free Spins

Every reel has a hen above it, and they randomly drop eggs in the baskets at the bottom. If 3 or more eggs fall in the same spin, they trigger the free spins.

Before the Finger Lick’n Free Spins round starts, 3 eggs appear for every reel that an egg has dropped on. Then, they crack and reveal 1 to 3 free spins, one wild symbol, and a 2x to 100x direct money award.

Out of all the eggs that crack, every time at least 4 eggs reveal a random number of free spins, at least 3 eggs will reveal a random direct money award,  and at least one will reveal a wild symbol.

The eggs can randomly appear as golden, randomly revealing the following:

• 5, 10, or 15 free spins.
• 1 wild with x5, x10, x15, or x20 multipliers applicable to all the wins the wild is part of. Multiple multiplier wilds are additive.
• 50x, 100x, 500x, or 2,000x direct money awards.

During the Finger Lick’n Free Spins, all the wild symbols revealed by eggs at the beginning stay on the screen and randomly move throughout the bonus. However, the wilds currently on the screen cannot stop on overlapping positions.

The hens can also drop eggs during this feature. Every egg that drops displays 3 eggs that crack and reveal a random award, like in the base game.

If a cracking egg reveals a new wild, and it overlaps an existing egg, all the winning combinations passing through the wild will have a +1x multiplier for that spin, plus the multiplier value the new wild carries. That is, if the new wild doesn’t have a multiplier.

Ante Bet & Bonus Buy

In Finger Lick’n Free Spins, you can double the bet multiplier to activate the ante bet. As a result, the chance to win the free spins round becomes naturally higher. But it deactivates the buy option.

Then, you can instantly trigger the free spins round from the base game by buying it for 100x the bet.

How to Win at Finger Lick’n Free Spins Slot

The 5 reels, 3 rows, and 10 paylines found in this video slot translate to an undemanding playing process.

To win, you must play the reels, and to play the reels, you must first pick an ideal bet. Here, you can wager from a minimum of €0.05 to a maximum of €500 per spin. In short, it should cater to all the players' budgets.

Once you’ve settled on a preferred stake, press the Spin button or use the keyboard’s Spacebar to initiate a single Finger Lick’n Free Spins game. Or, you can use the Autoplay function to start many preselected auto-spins.

A win occurs when 3 or more identical symbols appear along a predefined payline from the leftmost column to the right. For clarity, multiple winning lines are added to generate the total win.

Finger Lick’n Free Spins Slot RTP & Volatility

The theoretical RTP is 96.55%, whether you’re playing the normal games or using the ante bet and bonus buy choices. Furthermore, the game has high volatility, with a 6,000 times the bet win cap.

The Concluding Verdict

There was a time in iGaming history when two out of ten game releases were farm-inspired. As such, they’re undoubtedly among the most popular online slot genres, spanning from tranquil countryside releases, like Country Farming, to more chaotic ones, like Farm Madness (ZeusPlay catalogue). However, another sub-niche that exists is the unending feud between foxes and chickens.

Like in Feasting Fox, you have a responsibility to protect the egg-rearing chickens from the sneaky fox for prizes in the Finger Lick’n Free Spins. Admittedly, Reel Kingdom and Pragmatic Play have aced this game’s design, with crisp visuals and jovial countryside sounds.

The base game here is uneventful, leaving you to rely on regular wins. However, the symbol payouts are significantly decent. However, you’re in for unmatched action when you enter the free spins, as they include up to 100x bet direct money awards and up to 10x wild multipliers.

A few notable things about this game are its originality—it doesn’t copy and paste previous creations—and a wide betting radius. Finally, while the 6,000x bet win cap isn’t out of the iGaming world, it’s above the industry’s average. So, I reckon it’s a solid way to play farmer and watch over the farm animals.
