How to play

Fruit Mania Double Rush is a retro slot that has simple gameplay and controls. The game has just 5 fixed paylines and they are listed down the side of the reels. Also, it has a 5x3 layout with 5 reels and 3 rows in each reel.

At the bottom, you can change the bet per line value by clicking on the plus or minus arrows. The bet per line can be changed from 0.020 to 20. As the total bet is calculated by the bet per line x the paylines, the min bet is €0.10, and the max is €100.00.

The game also has a simple Autoplay feature - a pop-up box opens and you can pick the number of spins up to 250, and various “stop if” features.

Symbols and payouts

Fruit Mania Double Rush slot has a simple paytable with just 8 symbols. These symbols are all traditional fruit machine symbols that you would find in the arcade room of a casino and have been used for decades - they still look cool!

The symbols are - Sherries, a Lemon, an Orange, Grapes, a Melon, the Golden Bell, and the number 7. The Cherries have the lowest bet per line multiplier of 2.50x for 2x symbols and they are the only symbol that gives a payout for 2 symbols on a payline.

Alternatively, the number 7 offers the biggest payout. If you get 5x of the lucky number 7, you get a bet per line multiplier of 2500x! The golden bell also gives a great bet per line multiplier of 1250x if you get 5x symbols. Unfortunately, this game doesn’t have any Special Symbols or Free Spins bonus rounds.

Best Fruit Mania Double Rush bonus feature

The best (and only) Fruit Mania Double Rush bonus feature is the Double Rush Mechanic. Gamomat has created a myriad of retro slot games that have this feature in stock. It’s an interesting gimmick and it does theoretically give you a better value for your money.

The Double Rush feature effectively gives you 2 spins for a 1x bet stake. For example, if you have a bet value of €0.50, you will get 2x spins for this. When pressing the spin button, a ½ symbol will show within the button and the first spin will activate. When finished, the second spin will then activate and the symbol will change to 2/2 and you will not be charged for the second spin.

This is a cool feature but it doesn’t really make up for the lack of other game features. For example, there are no Fruit Mania Double Rush Free Spins, and there aren’t even any Wild or Scatter symbols - just a basic paytable!

RTP & volatility

The Fruit Mania Double Rush RTP is 96.12%. We would expect video slots to have a minimum RTP of 95% and most average between 95-96%. Therefore, this slot has a good RTP percentage that is slightly above the average. Gamomat has not published any information on the volatility of this retro slot, however.
