How to play

High Noon is a simple five-reel video slot with three rows in each reel. It has 30 paylines which can be changed. For your bet value, there are three parameters to change – coin denomination, bet per line, and the number of lines. The coin denomination can be adjusted from 0.02 to 1, the bet per line can be adjusted from 1 to 5, and the number of lines from 1 to 30.

This gives you great control and means the minimum and maximum bets are €0.02 and €150 respectively. As a result, the game is suitable for both low spenders and high-rollers.

High Noon also has an autoplay feature that has advanced controls. You can set the number of spins from 1 to 1,000, and you can also turn a quick-spin mode on. Plus, there is an option to set a maximum loss and cash limit.

Symbols and payouts

High Noon has nine basic symbols and several special symbols and game features. The basic symbols are a stetson hat, A, K, Q, J, a whisky bottle, the sheriff, and two bad guys. The lowest paying symbol is the stetson hat and J which pay 90x your line bet when landing five matching symbols.

Moving up, the highest paying single standard symbol is the main bad guy. Five of these symbols gives a whopping 1,200x multiplier. The overall top paying symbol is the wild symbol – five of these awards you a win of 3,000x your line bet.

There is also a wild guns feature that is triggered when the gun symbol lands on the center reel. When this happens, the sheriff shoots at the reels and can hit up to five symbols which will turn into wild symbols. The wild symbol has its own payout and substitutes for any symbol except the gun and sheriff’s badge. 

The showdown bonus is a unique feature of High Noon. If the gun symbol appears between the bad guy and sheriff symbol, the showdown bonus starts. Here you essentially choose heads or tails to determine the outcome of the gunfight. For each win, you move closer to the top bonus prize.

There is also a double-up feature after each win. You can choose to gamble your winnings on a card game. This is a 50/50 chance as you are choosing either a red or black card. If you win, you double your winnings. If you lose, you get nothing. You can gamble your winnings a maximum of five times in a row. 

Best High Noon bonus feature

The High Noon bonus feature is earned by gaining three or more sheriff’s badge scatter symbols. If you get these on consecutive reels, you earn High Noon free spins. Three symbols earn 10 free spins, four earns 12, and 5 earns the maximum of 15 free spins.

The standard paytable and symbols are used during these free spins, however, there is an additional feature. For each sheriff’s badge that appears, the sheriff’s badge bar fills. At the end of the free spins, the sheriff’s badges collected are converted into a bonus prize! You cannot trigger additional free spins during the bonus round, so 15 free spins is the maximum you can win at any one time.

RTP & Volatility

The High Noon RTP is 95.40% which is aligned with the industry average for video slots of between 95-96%. There is, however, no volatility information available for the game. The best wins come from the free spin bonus feature.
