How to play

Mr. Macau features a typical five-reel, three-row layout. Like most 5x3 titles on the Betsoft slot games list, the number of paylines isn’t too high – 20. The 20 paylines are all fixed. For each payline, you have to line up three or more of the same symbols to get a payout. The payout will be the value of the symbols on the payline, multiplied by your total bet.

The betting range in this game starts at €0.16 and goes up to a maximum of €24.00. As a low bets game, it should appeal to beginners and more conservative players.

Symbols and payouts

The Mr. Macau slot features eleven dazzling symbols all based on various casino icons. The payouts in this game are based on your total bet.

The lower symbols are the card suit symbols, starting from J.  Both J and Q have a payout of 0.25x for three on a line and 1x for five on a line. For the next two symbols, K and A, the upper payout increases by 1.5x for five on a line.

The next symbol is the Cherries symbol. If you have ever played old-time classic slots, then you will recognize it as a universal symbol of fruit slots. This symbol pays 0.5x for two on a line and 3x for five on a line. The Lucky 7 and the pair of dice symbols also have the same payout. The poker chips symbol pays out 0.75x for three and 4x for five on a line. The Mr. Macau symbol pays out 1x for three on a line and 6x for five on a line.

The 88 symbol has the biggest payout in this game. When you get three of these symbols on a line, the payout is 1.5x your bet. When you get all five on a line, the payout is a whopping 15x your bet!

Best Mr. Macau bonus feature

Mr. Macau bonus features revolve around the Wilds feature. The Wild symbol is a bright neon sign saying ‘WILD’. All Wilds can substitute for any other symbol in the game and are sticky for two spins. That means after they show up, they will stay in their position for the next two spins.

The 777 Symbol is the scatter. It awards 10 Mr. Macau free spins when you get three or more of them. Depending on the exact number, there will be another bonus during these free spins. Three scatter symbols will give out an increased chance of Wilds appearing. Four scatters will give out Sticky Wilds and a Multiplier bonus!

Stick and Respin is another bonus feature that activates randomly. If you don’t win a spin, this feature gives you a second chance by converting a single symbol into a sticky symbol and awarding a respin.

Similarly, Mr. Macau’s wild boost activates on a non-winning spin. It increases the chances of Sticky Wilds appearing.
