Since the online slot world has seen a lot of princesses gracing games, I wonder who or where the one in this Hacksaw Gaming release is from.

According to the backstory, Rainbow Princess features a heroine, ‘born from Stardust and empowered by gems.’ It proceeds to mention that, ‘she moves between realms with a crown charged by ancient forces and a heart set on a radiant path.’

The anime heroine floats next to the 6x5 grid, as witnessed many times before. Meanwhile, the backdrop is a dreamy display of colourful clouds, stars, and rainbows that take centre stage. Although the design is cartoonish, it’s utterly magical, with energetic jingles and twinkling chimes that complete the fantasy theme. 

Symbols and Payouts

The Rainbow Princess slot game features 10 regular symbols and a Cluster-Paying engine for winning. It’s a familiar payout technique, whereby you must aim for at least 5 identical symbols in connecting positions anywhere on the grid.

And we (you and I) may not know, but the developer may turn this into a full-blown franchise like its Pragmatic and Play’n GO counterparts.

Then, it makes sense why the win cap is a lucrative 10,000 times the bet. Moreover, since the game has medium volatility, it offers a low-risk experience with steady wins.

On the flipside, the gameplay has nothing unique, as multipliers are a staple in almost every one of Hacksaw’s releases. Then again, depending on the market you’re playing from, the RTP can be as low as 86.38%.

So, if I were to gamble this game with actual money, I’d be more interested in its novelty and mechanical value. But I wouldn’t consider it a long-term ideal choice.
