How to play

The Great Archer is a very simple-looking video slot. It has basic graphics and a fairly uninspired design. One of the first things you will probably notice is that the standard +/- stake options are not displayed on the main screen. You will need to click on the settings menu or a stack of coins which is located in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. 

For your bet, you will need to select the value of your credits - 40 credits will be used for each spin. This means the minimum that can be wagered in the game is €0.40, while the maximum is €40. You will also find the autospin option located next to the staking tab, where you can set up to 100 free spins. 

Symbols and payouts

All of the action in The Great Archer slot takes place across a standard 5x4 setup. What is one of the slot’s biggest selling points though is the fact that there are 1,024 different ways to win with each spin. 

The symbols all tie in with the slot’s archery theme, with the highest paying symbol being the blue crow, which is also the game’s scatter symbol. This will payout 10x your total bet for a combination of five, and 2x your bet for a combination of three. The next highest paying symbols are the archer himself, a black pearl, and the archer’s bow and arrows. These will all pay out 3.75x your total bet for a combination of five. 

As normal, the lowest paying symbols here are the royal symbols. The 9 and 10 both payout 1x your stake for a combination of five, and a much lower 0.05x your stake if you score just a combination of three. The wild symbol in the slot is a blazing sun and this will substitute for all other symbols in order to create a winning combination. 

Best The Great Archer bonus feature

There is not a huge amount of The Great Archer bonus games on offer here. The main bonus in the game is the free spins round. As usual, this is triggered whenever you manage to land 3 or more of the scatter symbols in the base game. Three symbols will give you 8, four will give you 15, and five will give you 20. 

During The Great Archer free spins round, if you land a wild, it will apply a multiplier of either 2x or 3x of the winnings. This is completely at random so you have a 50/50 chance. You can land multiple wilds in one spin, with the maximum multiplier that can be applied being 27x. 

It is also possible to retrigger the free spins by landing two or more scatters during the round. The same number of spins will be awarded for 3-5 scatters, while two scatters will reward five extra free spins.
