It seems Push Gaming didn’t want to alter the slot’s originality. As such, you’re returning to the mystical forest from the initial game. The graphics still maintain a vibrant cartoonish appeal.

According to the developer, the Wild Swarm 2 slot machine is compatible with mobile, desktop, and tablet devices. Its gameboard assumes a 5x4 layout, while the controls scatter on the right-hand side of the screen for easy access.

Symbols and Payouts

Although you won’t see a group of bees on the base game reels, you’ll encounter different flowers, honey pots, and plant-inspired playing cards.

So, the ambient display spills into the Wild Swarm 2 slot reels.

The game has 20 fixed paylines. So, wins hit when a predefined number of identical symbol instances appear consecutively from the leftmost reel. You only receive one line win per payline.

Chest Feature

Collectable Bees

When the Hive is at the maximum level of 5, and a Bee hits on-screen, the Hive may explode to trigger the Swarm Mode. The Queen Bee has higher odds of awarding this Wild Swarm 2 bonus. 

Swarm Mode

As mentioned, it can trigger after the Hive explodes or by picking an Instant Swarm Mode prize from the Chest. It starts with 10 free spins followed by 2x, 3x, 4x, 6x, and 8x reel multipliers placed above columns 1 to 5, respectively.

A full stack of Sticky Wilds randomly lands on one of the columns before the initial spin. However, it doesn’t award more Extra Spins. At the end of this mode, a new Hive appears overhead the reels with a random initial level of 2-4 and partly filled by 40-60%!          

Free Spins

Land 3, 4, or 5 Hive symbols anywhere for 7, 8, and 10 free spins, with 3, 4, and 5 guaranteed sticky wilds, respectively. You can also trigger this Wild Swarm 2 free play round from the Chest feature in the base game.

Sticky Wilds remain in their positions until the feature ends. Further, 2x and 4x reel multipliers appear above the respectively-numbered columns.

Perhaps the only downside for me was that this new video slot isn’t much different from the original. In fact, you might feel like playing the same old experience unless you have a keen eye to note some of the enhancements, for example, the improved max win!
