How to play

Zeus is pretty fun and simple to play, from the base game to the bonus round. SimplePlay likes to present its games in a distinctive manner that makes a big impression. Hence, the game has an unusual 3-4-5-4-3 set up and 720 ways to win, making this slot even more appealing. The gameplay starts with clicking the big 'Spin' button at the bottom of the screen. But before you start spinning, you have to set up your bet.

The least you can bet is $0.50, while the maximum is $250. You could use the 'Max Bet' appearing just on the left side of the spin button. There's also the 'Autoplay' button directly on the right side of the spin button. The autoplay allows automatic spins up 1,000.  

You land a win if 3 to 5 symbols appear on adjacent reels on a spin. The 720 ways offer you a choice of deciding whether the game pays your winnings from left to right or from right to left. Every winning combination will contain just one symbol from a reel, and each winning combination will have only one symbol used. Note that the biggest of each symbol combination is paid.

Symbols and Payouts

With the beautifully designed background comes a set of nicely designed symbols, too, depicting the overall theme of this slot. The highest paying standard symbols include Gaia and a Female Greek Warrior with 5 of a kind of either of them awarding 250x coins. Typhon or Pitchfork will offer you 200x coins each for 5 matching symbols. Get 5 of the Helmet or Dagger symbols each to receive 150x coins.

The card symbols are also available on the reels and they are the lowest paying suite. With A or K symbols offering 100x coins for 5 of a kind. For 5 Q or J symbols on a line, you'll get 80x coins each. 10 or 9 symbols will award 60x coins each for 5 matching on a line. 

Zeus is the first Wild symbol that appears only on reels 2, 3, and 4 and replaces all other symbols except the Scatter. The Black Dragon is the Scatter symbol that pays independently, offering you 2x, 10x, or 20x for 3, 4, or 5 landing together, respectively. 

Zeus bonus features

This is the crux of Zeus, as the gods unite to offer some exciting bonus games amid their animosity. Even though the overall gameplay is worth your while, you'll likely prefer the Zeus bonus features.

First, you have the Wild Lock Re-spin feature, which comes to life if 5 stacked wild symbols land on the 3rd reel and cover that reel. The 3rd reel will then automatically lock itself with all wilds on it. The other reels will re-spin once, so you could have new chances of hitting a win. While at it, the bet amount remains the same. Once the re-spin is over, all your wins will be calculated and paid accordingly.  

The next bonus is the Free Game feature. This feature is triggered if you land 3 or more Black Dragon Scatter symbols. You can see the symbol is quite powerful.
