A Dragon’s Story has 25 paylines that are fixed and always in play. It features a traditional five-reel game and each reel has three rows. The bet value is easy to calculate as it is the stake multiplied by the paylines which is always 25.

You can change the stake value by using the up and down arrows at the bottom of the screen. These values can be changed from €0.01 to €25, which results in a minimum and maximum bet value of €0.25 and €625 respectively.

Symbols and payouts

A Dragon’s Story has 10 basic symbols and several special symbols. The basic symbols include a 9, 10, J, Q, K, A, a boot, a shield, Brave Sir William, and a treasure pile. The basic letters and numbers are the lowest paying symbols with 9, and 10 having the lowest payout multiplier of 5x for three symbols.

The highest paying basic symbol is the dragon’s treasure pile. This will reward a payout multiplier of 1,000x for five symbols. The highest paying symbol in the game, however, is the scatter symbol which has an amazing multiplier of 2,500x.

First, we have the dragon wild symbol. This substitutes for all other symbols except the scatter. It also has its own payout with a maximum multiplier of 2.000 for five wild symbols.

Next, we have the scatter symbol which is an ancient purple jewel. This scattery symbol is used to trigger the free spins, but it also has its own payout. This has a maximum multiplier of 2,500x for five scatter symbols and pays regardless of the order of the symbols.

There is also an A Dragon’s Story bonus feature which is free spins. The jewel scatter symbol triggers the A Dragon’s Story free spins feature. If you get three or more scatter symbols, you earn 10 free spins. During the free spins, the paytable multipliers are all doubled.

Also, during the free spins, small baby dragons will appear to burn more symbols and change them into wild symbols – this further increases your chances of winning. Whilst playing the free spins, you can also trigger additional free spins which can lead to some amazing jackpot combinations.
