How to play

Some players might find the video slot’s screen somewhat swamped until they get the hang of it. Nevertheless, the game takes place within five reels and four rows that float against a backdrop depicting Gotham City during a rainy night. The control panel lies below the grid, with all the buttons nicely crafted and marked. But, before you get on to battling it out with the Joker, you’ll need to set your total bet per spin.

You’ll use the ‘red’ down and ‘blue’ up arrows to set your bet per line from €0.01 to €1.00. Consequently, the Batman slot allows up to 10 bet levels, and you can stake from anywhere between €0.50 to €50.00. Symbols and payouts

The game developer ensures that all the high- and low-value symbols used in the game take after an original DC comic style. The high paying icons include the bonus logo, the scatter, and Joker. Landing at least two to five of the scatter and bonus logo symbols will award you wins of between 100x to 5,000x your line bet. However, their wins are guaranteed after you activate the bonus bet only. Land two to five of the Joker, on the other hand, and you will be paid anything from 4x to 2,000x your line bet.

The lower paying icons include Commissioner Gordon, the batmobile and bat bike, a spotlight, fake guns, Batarangs, Joker’s flowers, bat tools, and joker cards. You’ll need at least two to five of Commissioner Gordon to gain wins of 2x to 200x your line bet. You’ll need three or more of a kind to receive rewards of 4x to 150x your line bet for the rest of the low tier characters.

Since the free-haired Joker offers the highest payout in a normal round, he should be your focus as you spin the reels. Alternatively, you can activate the bonus bet feature to rack up more wins from the scatter and bonus logos. Without forgetting, Batman is the slot’s wild, and we’ll show you his function in the next section.

Best Batman bonus feature

A fierce-looking Batman acts as the wild symbol, and he appears on the second, third, and fourth reels only to substitute for all other characters except the bonus logo and scatter. Additionally, when he’s part of a winning combo in the main game, the prize doubles. There’s also a special bonus bet that triggers 10 extra coins. Consequently, an additional Batman icon comes onto reels two, three, and four randomly.

Furthermore, instead of including a Batman free spins feature, there is a re-spin that can retrigger. It launches when Commissioner Gordon and the Bat-signal appear on reels one and five consecutively, or vice versa. After receiving the payout, either reels two, three, or four expand to become stacked wilds that hold as the other reels re-spin thrice. All wins double during the extra spins that play at the lines and bet of the activating spin.

Lastly, there’s a Descent into Madness Feature that goes live only when the bonus bet is on. Additionally, three or more bonus bet logos must appear on the wheels from left to right. During the round, Batman must aim at inmates with his Batarang to receive awards. After clearing the inmates, he must then stop the Joker before he escapes by hitting him thrice, which will earn up to 100x the triggering line bet.

RTP & Volatility

There are two theoretical Batman RTP values – 95.71% when the bonus bet is active and 92.20% when it’s inactive. Additionally, this title has low-to-medium volatility and low limit bets, translating to low-risk levels for players. As such, conservative gamblers are in for a treat!
