Like most slots under this franchise, except for Big Bass Day at Races, Big Bass Halloween 2 remains submerged. However, as seen from the symbols, I’m unsure whether it’s the typical ocean or some sort of contaminated swamp.

This time, the usually jovial fisherman has a spookier makeover, complete with a blood-stained chainsaw. Furthermore, a suspenseful soundtrack with throbbing beats completes the eerie design. But the rest of the gameplay, including the rising bubbles separating the 5-by-3 reels, remains synonymous with the Big Bass series.

The symbols, including the stitched playing card signs, conform to the scary theme. Maybe the fisherman consumed the contaminated fish, transforming him into a blood-thirsty maniac. Still, you’ll find ten regular-paying symbols, with one serving two functions. Further, the slot has two non-paying specials.

Because even after refusing to advance the features in the Big Bass sequel, the duo have now opted to clone Big Bass Splash into this new release. The only excuse is that it adopts a Halloween theme.

If I may ask, is the design team short of innovativeness that they couldn’t create a completely fresh release? That could have made the news since Big Bass Halloween could have simply served as the series’ Halloween variant.

In summary, the features and gameplay felt monotonous and overused, dulling the experience. So, I think most players who’ve experienced the unending list of already released Big Bass slots may not fancy Big Bass Halloween 2. Otherwise, if you haven’t, perhaps it will intrigue you.
