Overview

Get ready to dance the night away with the Coco Bongo slot game from Nucleus Gaming. The game invites you to take part in some Latin dancing while attempting to spin the reels and score a big win. The slot features an array of different special features and some fun characters. Let’s take a more detailed look at what else is on offer in this Coco Bongo slot review.

How to Play

Coco Bongo is all about getting you in the mood to dance and it does this rather well. The game has some fun design features and the dancer characters look great. The slot also features some really nifty animations and a cinematic style dance-off with the bonus features. It also boasts an incredibly infectious soundtrack that will make you want to get up and shake your hips.

The gameplay is kept nice and simple. The Coco Bongo video slot is set up on a 5x3 grid. To change your stake, click on the change bet option on the little burger menu. There are 30 paylines that can be adjusted for each spin and you can bet up to five bets per line. The minimum overall stake is very low at €0.02, while the maximum is much higher at €150. The slot also features a standard autospin feature. Test out the Coco Bongo demo we have provided before you play for real money.

Symbols and Payouts

The symbols in Coco Bongo payout per line. The highest paying symbol in the game is the female dancer who pays out 500x for combinations of five, 200x for four, and 100x for three. The two male dancers are next, with both of them paying out 300x for five. A hat and a drum are next, paying out 100x and 50x for five respectively. Finally, there are three symbols which are the lowest paying – maracas, guitar, and a cocktail. These payout 25x, 10x, and 5x, for combinations of five, four, and three. That’s all for the payouts of this game, let’s move on to the next section of this Coco Bongo slot review where we will cover all bonus features.

Best Coco Bongo Bonus Feature

The main Coco Bongo bonus feature is a free spins round. This can be triggered whenever you land three dancing shoes, scatter symbols on your reels. When the Coco Bongo free spins are launched, players get to choose a symbol to become wild during the duration of the round. As well as this, free spins winnings can pay out between 2x and 10x randomly per spin.

The main bonus feature is a progressive jackpot. There are three progressives listed above the reels, the Suave, Mediano, and Caliente. To trigger the Suave, you will need to land five rose symbols anywhere on the reels, to get the Mediano, you will need to get the same five symbols on lines 2 or 3, and to get the Caliente, which is the biggest Coco Bongo jackpot, you will need to get them all on the first payline.

If you want to see some dancing action, there is also a bonus round that is triggered when you land the two male dancers on either side of the female dancer on paylines 1-3. You can then choose which dancer to support and win potential bonuses if he is victorious.

Finally, if you land a wild in the exact center of the reels during any spin, it will expand, cover the reel, and give you a free spin. If you win on that free spin, you will get another one. Plus, the wild will become a 2x multiplier. If you keep winning Coco Bongo free spins, this will occur up to 5x.

RTP & Volatility

The Coco Bongo RTP is not listed in the game, and there is no volatility information either. When playing the title for this Coco Bongo slot review, we found that we didn’t score wins on a very consistent basis and it took quite a long time to trigger the free spins round.
