Symbols and payouts

Master of Gold is a quirky little title that offers some really charming imagery and memorable characters. The main character is the titular Master of Gold who appears in the slot as the scatter symbol. 

The other symbols in the game are all items that presumably belong to him. They include a magnifying glass looking at a diamond, a big barrel full of gold, a gold coin, an urn full of riches, and a diamond ring, as well as the wild symbol. The diamond and the wild are the two highest-paying symbols on the board, offering players a payout of up to 500x their initial stake. Of course, there is also the standard collection of card symbols at the lower end of the spectrum too. These will offer just 2x your stake for a combination of five. 

Best Master of Gold bonus feature

When it comes to bonus rounds, there is quite a lot to unpack here so buckle in. Firstly there is the Master of Gold free spins round. This is triggered by players landing three or more of the scatter symbols in the game. This will reward an initial five free spins but players can retrigger this, adding three more spins each time. The maximum amount available is 101. A super symbol can also appear in this round - a giant version of one of the symbols that will take up nine spots in the middle of the screen. This can then be used to help secure some winning combinations. 

The other main attraction here is the Master of Gold bonus game and the jackpot round. When the reels are spinning, players will notice symbols that display a number of credits. If you are lucky enough to land six of these in one spin, it will launch the bonus game. During this game, the six initial credit symbols will be locked in place. All normal symbols are removed, leaving just the credits and the jackpot symbols and players will get three spins. Any credit or jackpot symbols will then automatically lock in place. Each time you land a new symbol, your respins are topped back up to three.
