The Starlight Wins is set somewhere in the planetary system, where cotton candy-like clouds and shimmery stars radiate a whimsical aura. It doesn’t end there. Instead, the design team added an upbeat, dreamy soundtrack to complete the enchanting theme.

A princess, holding a magic wand, appears above the unconventional 4-5-5-5-4 gameboard, while the game controls rest below it. And, even if the screen configuration appears more suitable for mobile platforms, it should run smoothly on all devices, provided you’re playing on a stable internet connection.

Symbols and Payouts

This video slot has 2,000 ways to win, translating to left-to-right adjacent symbol combinations for payouts. As the paytable shows, you must match 3 to 5 identical symbols to complete a winning combination.

The nine regular symbols in Starlight Wins are ranked as low or high-paying in the paytable. Their values change dynamically to reflect the currently selected bet.

A tumble feature goes live after winning, removing all the paying symbols from the screen. The remaining ones drop to the bottom, while the empty positions are replaced with new symbols falling from above. The tumbles continue as long as more winning sequences appear.

Tumble Multipliers

How to Win at Starlight Wins Slot

The Final Thoughts

When I stumbled upon this video slot’s title and saw it was a Pragmatic Play release, I thought it was a continuation of the Starlight Princess franchise. However, after realising it was created in collaboration with Fat Panda, I quickly noted it’s a new addition to the duo’s focus on the Asian market.

Although the Starlight Wins visuals, albeit their immersive appearance, are almost a replica of the mentioned franchise.

Mechanically, the gameplay revolves around tumbles and increasing multipliers, which should be familiar to most slot enthusiasts. But, at least, the gameplay wasn’t a replica of a previously released game; none that I’m aware of. The action advances during the free spins since the multipliers increase more than in the base game.

While most of this slot’s components aren’t new, what stood out is the mind-blowing 100,000 times the bet maximum win! Yet again, I couldn’t help but wonder about the possibility of racking such a huge win potential. Not that it’s impossible, but it would require your mind and soul.

Lastly, the gameplay didn’t include a bonus buy or ante bet for players who prefer jumping right into the bonus action. But the drawbacks aren’t significant compared to the enticing aspects. So, while vouching for the game, I caution you to proceed carefully, as it’s highly volatile!
