Eye of Dead Slot Review

Prepare for a trip to an ancient Egyptian tomb.

How to play

First-time players should know that the action starts when you click on the green button with a white pointer. A single click will trigger all five reels and three rows found here. On the left side, there’s a bet button that allows users to adjust the bet before each spin. A list of ten betting options starts with €0.1 and ends with €1 in the regular game. You can choose from four additional bets worth €1.5, €2, €5, or €10 to activate Premium play. In each option, one of the high-paying symbols is upgraded. So, only two premium symbols will appear on the reels if you play with the highest bets.

As you might have expected, you’ll find an auto-play button and a button with three white lines. The latter expands and lets players access the sound control, help, or payout section.

Symbols and payouts

In the base game, there is a list that includes ten standard symbols. The lowest paying symbols in the Eye of Dead slot are the playing card icons. So, players that will hit three, four, or five green Jacks, pink Queens, blue Kings, or red Aces on a line will win 0.5, 2, or 10 times the total bet, respectively. The scarab pays more. Namely, you can expect 1, 5, or 20 times the bet for three, four, or five scarabs on a payline. The casket and urns pay the same prizes. Thanks to the bird icon, players can win 2, 10, or 25 times the total bet.

Whenever a player hits three, four, or five Anubis statues on a line, they will get 2, 12.5, or 30 times their bet. It’s the pharaoh’s mask that pays 5, 20, or 40 times the total bet. We also have an Indiana Jones-like explorer that pays the highest prizes among the standard symbols – 10, 25, or 50 times the total bet. The scatter icon delivers similar prizes like the highest-paying standard symbol – 2, 20, or 50 times the total bet. The wild icon acts as a non-paying symbol.

Best Eye of Dead bonus feature

The aforementioned scatter icon is crucial for the activation of the best Eye of Dead bonus feature. However, before we talk about it, we’d like to mention the wild icon. It comes in the shape of a golden decorated pillar. The wild icon is here to help users form winning lines by substituting for missing standard symbols. Remember that the wild icon expands and covers the reels giving players more chance to form winning combos.

The scatter icon comes in the shape of a book with an Eye of Horus sign. When a player hits three, four, or five scatter icons, they will get a cash reward and activate a round of 12 Eye of Dead free spins. During free spins, the wild icon upgrades symbols. This helps you win higher prizes. Don’t forget that one, two, or three wilds during free spins provide 1, 3, or 5 additional free spins, respectively.

Once again, we should mention the Premium Play offered in this game. Depending on the cost, users can choose to change base game symbols into other symbols active in the base game and free spins. For example, in the highest fourth level (€10 bet), you will turn the sarcophagus, bird, and Anubis symbols into pharaoh’s mask symbols.

RTP & Volatility

The Return to Player percentage of this release is slightly above average. You’ll find an Eye of Dead RTP of 96.31%. Also, this is a high volatility title by Blueprint Gaming.
