You probably know that you have to use a play button to play a slot game. Playing the Interstellar Attack slot game is not different. In this case, it’s the orange pointer in a circle that acts as a play button. This time, when you click on it, the 6 reels are not spinning – they are just filled with icons (some of them are left blank). Changing the size of the bet is easy. All you have to do is use the Bet tab. Players can use as little as 20 credits per spin and as much as 4,000 credits per turn.
This release has an auto-play feature too. It’s activated when you click on the two pointers. The creators have provided a lot of options for those who want to use this feature. Finally, once you press the plus sign, you can check the payout table and regulate the music.
To make things more interesting (and unique), the Interstellar Attack slot game has included mechanics typical for video games. The basic symbols are represented by different aliens. The payouts they promise depend on the reel where they will land. So, you don’t have to make specific combinations of two, three, or more matching icons to get paid. It’s worth mentioning that there are four aliens used as basic icons in this release.
First and foremost, we have the Pink Alien that pays between 0.5 or 1 times the total bet. Then we have the Green Alien that delivers 2.5 or 5 times the total bet. It’s followed by the Purple Alien that can help you win 10 times the total stake. Finally, the Orange Alien is the rarest and pays between 25 and 100 times your stake.
The arcade component is the best Interstellar Attack bonus. It’s part of the Spin-crease feature. The bottom row/reel of this game can display four different spaceships (or blank positions). All of them will shoot towards the reel above them. Some of them will shoot through the icons too. In case they hit a basic symbol, you’ll get paid and boost the Spin-crease meter. Players that will destroy asteroids will get a red fuel component collected in the Power-Up meter. Ten components in this meter will get you two Power-Up icons on the next turn. They can provide a multiplier worth up to 10 times, an exploding icon that removes the asteroids, or a diverter to get a guaranteed win with the next shot.
Don’t forget that boosting the Spin-crease meter will provide points multiplied by the bet multiplier. Also, the spaceships are upgraded for each next level you get to. Players who want to activate a round of Interstellar Attack free spins should shoot the telescope. This is how you can activate ten free spins. Fuel components are not collected during free spins. However, players get random Power-Up icons on the matrix. Lastly, don’t forget that you can progress to the sixth level, and each level has its specific bonus payout.
The volatility level and theoretical Return to Player percentage affect the outcome of slot games (at least in theory). This is the reason why we will use this information to finish the Interstellar Attack slot review. The volatility is set to medium/high. Namely, the Interstellar Attack goes between 90% and 97.2%. The Return to Player percentage depends on the level you’ve reached (97.2% on the sixth, highest level).
