Hypernova Megaways Slot Review

How to play

Hypernova Megaways uses six main reels with a variable number of symbol positions, plus an upper reel. The slot offers up to 117,649 ways rather than fixed paylines. A larger number of ways does not guarantee larger or more frequent wins.

Since there are no paylines, your land wins differently. The symbols must go from the leftmost reel to the right and on adjacent reels, regardless of their position on each reel. If there are any reel gaps, you cannot land a win.

Before you start playing, you can adjust your betting range between €0.20 and €100. The betting range is on the wide side, so both high rollers and low-budget players can enjoy the online slot. When you land a win, it is multiplied by the base bet value and gives you an impressive payout. The base bet is the total bet divided by 20.

Symbols and payouts

The symbols you will see while you play the Hypernova Megaways slot offer top payouts as you play the game. The special icons on the reels include the WILD and the scatter. They don’t offer any separate payouts but will unlock exciting bonuses.

The highest paying symbol is the diamond with a payout of up to 100x your base bet – this happens when you land up to six symbols on any of the reels.

Next is the red heart gem, with a reward of 5x your base bet for hitting six symbols on the pay-lines. The green square gem offers 2.5x, and the blue triangle gem will give 2x your base bet for landing six symbols of a kind.

Low-paying symbols include the A, which offers 1.2x, while K offers 1x your base bet, for landing six symbols on the reels. Q and J will pay out 0.9x and 0.7x, and finally, 10 and 9 offer 0.6x and 0.5x your base bet when you land six symbols.

Best Hypernova Megaways bonus features

Look out for the different Hypernova Megaways bonus features as you spin the reels on this slot. The game has a wild symbol that can substitute for other symbols to complete a winning combination, although it cannot replace a scatter. The wild only appears on the top reel.

If you land six or more scatters on the reels, you can unlock the Jackpot Respins feature. It will reward you with three respins, and all the scatters on the reels will be locked into place during the respins. The other reels will spin.

Whenever you land another scatter on the reels, the number of respins goes back to three, and the scatter is held into place. The game ends when you run out of respins and no more scatters land on the reels. Wilds don’t appear during the respins feature.

Once you complete the respins, you can get a prize or a jackpot prize. The bronze and silver jackpot prizes can be awarded more than once, which is excellent, while the platinum and gold are awarded only once.

The bronze, silver, gold, and platinum jackpots come with rewards of 10x, 50x, 250x, and 2,000x your total bet. There are no Hypernova Megaways free spins here.
