Take 5 Slot Review

The Take 5 slot from Bally Wulff is a simple, classic slot.

How to play

The Take 5 slot is played on three reels, three rows, and five paylines. The five paylines are fixed and run from left to right, consisting of three horizontal and two diagonal lines. Before spinning the reels, you can select the bet you want to play with.

Since the paylines are fixed, you only have to choose your bet per line. The range is between 50 and 10,000, leading your total bet to be between 250 and 50,000 credits. The total bet is the bet per line multiplied by the number of paylines. All wins are multiplied by the bet per line and not the total bet.

After selecting your bet, you can click on the spin button to create winning combinations on adjacent reels and from left to right. There is also an autoplay option that keeps on spinning the reels until you press stop and a max bet option that allows you to choose the highest bet.

Symbols and payouts

The symbols on the reels of the Take 5 slot are mostly fruits and classic symbols. Since there are only three reels and rows, you can only land three of a kind in a winning combination. There are no bonus symbols on the reels.

The highest paying symbol is the red seven, which offers 1,000x your bet per line for landing three on any of the five paylines. Next are the star symbols with a reward of 250x your bet per payline.

Then, we have the bell symbol, which will give you a payout of 100x your line bet for landing three symbols across the reels. The plum symbol offers a reward of 40x your bet per line.

Next are the orange and lemon symbols, which offer the same payout as the plum for landing three across the reels.

Lastly, the cherry and diamond symbols will give you 20x and 5x your bet per payline for landing three of a kind on any of the paylines.

Best Take 5 Bonus Features

The Take 5 bonus features are not necessarily the normal ones you see in most classic online slot games. There are no wilds on the reels to stand in for symbols and form winning combinations. There is also no Take 5 free spins feature, to the disappointment of many, including ourselves.

The main attraction of the Take 5 slot is the win repeater feature. If you can fill up the screen with the same symbols, you get the win repeater feature. Here, the current screen win can be reactivated up to 4 times.

Once the feature has been triggered, you will see a fortune wheel with five segments that you can land on. Four out of the five are green, while the last one is red. If you land on the green, you fill the reels with the same symbol again and get your payout. If you land on red, the feature ends. You can land on the green only four times.

There are also two gamble bonus games that you get to play at the end of every winning round. The first is the card gamble game, which is unlocked by clicking on the card symbol after a winning spin. Then, you will bet on the color of the next card. If you get the right color, you succeed and get double your win. If not, you lose it all – so choose wisely.

The other bonus game is the ladder gamble, which you enter by clicking on the ladder symbol after a winning spin. If you win, you will get the highlighted step above your current one, and if you lose, you get the lower one.

You can decide to collect your wins without gambling.

RTP & volatility

The Take 5 RTP is quite impressive for a classic game, set at 96.11%. It also offers medium variance, which means frequent and average-sized wins.
