The Newly-Regulated Dutch Market Welcomes Microgaming and its Content

Leading content aggregator Microgaming announced its entrance into the newly-regulated Dutch gambling market. This was after the company received the go-ahead from the country’s gaming regulator.

The approval to offer its wide range of online gaming content comes after Microgaming released several feature-packed games in October. One of the early beneficiaries of the aggregator’s entrance is TOTO. This is a gaming operator owned and run by Nederlandse Loterij.

At least 200 exclusive games are already circulating in the market. These titles include the latest games from the studio released in October. The company’s aggregation platform will be the main outlet allowing players to access both legendary and new online slots.

The studio’s popular progressive jackpot games of Mega Moolah will be available. Players in the Netherlands will also find an array of games from over 60 game developers. This is besides the developer’s proprietary content.

Some of the renowned partners include Stakelogic, ORYX Gaming, Spearhead Studios, and Inspired Entertainment. Microgaming also sealed a partnership deal with Spinstars recently in September. That means Dutch gamblers should also expect to enjoy releases from this developer. This will be further down the line.

Microgaming has been instrumental in license acquisition for several operators in the country. This is as it aimed to enter the market within its targeted time. The developer helped these operators get their information plus documentation to adhere to the country’s new regulations.

Reactions from the Company After Receiving the Go-Ahead

Julie Allison commented on the content aggregator’s latest entrant into the Dutch gaming market. The director of markets at Microgaming said the latest move is crucial in the company’s expansion strategy into regulated markets.

Allison further said the newly-regulated Dutch market comes with plenty of opportunities. This is not only for Microgaming but also for its customers. Microgaming also looks forward to helping content distributors in the Netherlands to grow as time goes by.

Furthermore, it remains committed to promoting responsible gambling. Allison concluded by lauding the country’s legislation for being forward-thinking. They also complimented the comprehensive player protection regulations.
