Live casino games have been captivating the imagination of customers from all over the world. With the opening of US online markets, they have become quite popular among American gamers as well. One of the most beloved brands is, of course, Evolution. For this reason, the live gaming giant recently opened its third live casino in the US. After studios in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, now there is also one in Southfield, Michigan! The new Evolution studio is the first one to ever be launched in the Great Lake State.
Evolution means serious business. It is also known to do everything by the book. That is why the studio was launched only after the Michigan Gaming Control Board gave it the green light. Evolution is the first live casino provider in Michigan, so authorities provided some explanations.
Henry Williams, MGCB executive director, said customers are allowed to play on both desktop and mobile. The portfolio will initially include staples like blackjack, roulette, and baccarat, but Williams says more genres might be added in the future.
Evolution promises “state-of-the-art” live tables. The company emphasizes it delivers a great B2B solution, for companies who want to offer world-class gaming. MGCB approved streaming starting at 10am, Thursday, July 22. Nine brands started offering the Evolution live gaming platform on the same day. They include BetRivers, Barstool Sports, TwinSpires, and William Hill, among others. Other brands, like the Stars Group, will announce their own dates.
Evolution is known as one of the most innovative live software companies in the world. A special gaming delicacy is their game shows which combine different genres under one roof. However, only three games are allowed in the Michigan studios. Still, every game can have multiple variants.
Evolution included Infinite and standard Blackjack, Baccarat, Roulette, and Auto Roulette. It is hoped the company will be allowed to add five additional games pretty soon. However, no dates were mentioned, and no announcements have been made.
Jeff Millar, Commercial Director North America at Evolution, commented on this major landmark. He explained it is an important milestone in the company's growth and said the company is fully committed to the Michigan casino market. He recalled that the Evolution Group started offering NetEnt titles back in January. This made it present from the very start of the Michigan market opening. Millar said he is delighted with all partnerships the company has in the state.
He also hopes they will be allowed to extend their portfolio. As the main goal, Millar mentioned excitement and entertainment thanks to the “best possible choices”. When it comes to business, he is hoping Evolution will help operators reach their maximum. He didn’t miss the opportunity to say operators have been pretty excited with what Evolution has to offer. Millar revealed casinos lined up for their famous branded tables that should be approved later this year.
Evolution launched its first live studio in the US back in 2018 in Pennsylvania. The second studio in New Jersey started operating in 2020. The company recently released its first live slot, Gonzo’s Quest Treasure Hunt, but it still hasn’t been approved by the Michigan authorities.
